I've been running sound for over 15 years, and have owned many speakers. I needed to add two subs for a series of outdoor gigs I have coming up. This economy is rough, so money is tight. I recently bought a pair of 15" monitors from Steve (Seismic) that I am quite pleased with. I decided to give the 18" Enforcer II's a try over a pair of Carvin 1801N's, and a pair of Peavey SP118's. The price difference was close to $100 per cabinet. I just demoed my new Enforcers and I couldn't stop playing cd's thru them. I played quite the variety from Rebecca St. James to Pink Floyd to Godsmack and a bunch in between. I was very impressed and glad I bought them! If you want to spend more money for a name, go ahead. Any speaker cabinet at the price point of these is very similar in build quality and sound reproduction, so why pay $100, or more, per cabinet just for the name?????
